A delicate sea glass bar necklace with five nuggets of genuine Scottish beach glass, two frosted Jade crystals and sterling silver beads, all presented on a pretty sterling silver belcher chain. The sea glass nuggets are a rainbow of olive green tones. The beach glass has been worn smooth and frosted after decades of tumbling in the Scottish sea! There is a gentle curve in the bar to flatter the neckline.

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
