The seaglass has been worn smooth and frosted after decades of tumbling in the North sea. Each piece of sea glass is unique, making these earrings one of a kind and the slightly mis-matched colours and shapes, add to their charm.

The earrings are wire-wrapped in silver-plated wire with a Celtic-inspired design that highlights the natural beauty of the glass. The earrings measure approximately 4cm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the sea glass and arrive in a gift box and gift-wrapped with a free silver cleaning cloth. All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
