Sea Glass Pendant - Dark Blue 'Friendship' Interlocking Spirals Necklace - Silver Scottish Beach Jewellery

A blue sea glass pendant, handmade jewellery from the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. 

The necklace is wire-wrapped with silver-plated wire and features a two interlocking spirals - this would make a perfect gift to celebrate a special relationship - a best friend, mother & daughter or your significant other! The sea glass itself is approximately 4cm high. The necklace comes with a silver-plated snake chain with an extender on it which can be worn between 16-18 inches.

Blue glass is rare, particularly at this size. It was commonly used in medicine (or poison!) bottles, which were traditionally made from thinner glass than beer or wine bottles. It tended to break into smaller fragments in the sea so large pieces like this are hard to find!
